Quintus was born into a military family that lived in a fairly wealthy estate outside of the country. She and her older brother, Marcus Vercis, would train for battle in the mornings and learn academics in the evening. As Quintus was reaching her 19th birthday, her homeland went to war with a nation to the east. The recruitment age for the military being 21, Marcus, 23 at the time, was enlisted and sent off into battle. Quintus, being a rather carefree individual, didn’t mind staying home. While Marcus was off fighting, Quintus was either training or reading old history texts. One day, while spending an afternoon in the library, Quintus came across a book of foreign Gods, and there she learned of Aergia, the Greek Goddess of laziness, idleness and sloth. Quintus soon became fascinated with Aergia’s teachings and ideology, and decided to spread Aergia’s word across the land in order to help people become as relaxed as she is. After being kicked out of three different groups of Paladins, Quintus found an academy, if you will, where she could practice the art of the Inquisitor. In a few years, Quintus left the academy with the intent to spread the word of Aergia, but ended up spending her time lazing about in taverns or out in the countryside. Eventually, Quintus heard word that her brother had been taken by the enemy and sold into slavery. Pushed into action by the news of her brother’s plight, Quintus went on a crusade to eliminate all groups of slavers. When she left she had two blue eyes. She returned years later with an eye patch over her right eye, refusing to mention her crusade to anyone, and returned to a life of leisure.
Quintus is probably the laziest person you’ve ever met, and I don’t need to know you to know that’s true. She’s a fairly kind person, and despite her somewhat goofy and arguably childlike demeanor, she’s rather smart. While she may be an incredibly lazy person, she is able to become extremely motivated when people she cares about are on the line. She doesn’t get angry often at all, but becomes cold when the mention of slavers or her family. As far as you’re concerned, she has no last name
